Poker rules that govern the etiquettes of the poker players require:-
Avoiding usage of illicit drugs, cigar or drinks while at play in disciplined casinos
Not using indecent cheating on opponents
Not using abusive language and creating chaos to distract players form concentrating in the game.
Not throwing away chips off the table and splashing pots or tearing of the cards because they are going to lose
Piling up chips in a disturbing way that interferes with dealing
Not communicating in an alien language during the game.

Poker rules that govern the betting and money proceeding may require that:-
A single wholesome buy-in that is enough for the whole game should be purchased.
Some rooms entertain re-buys whereas most do not entertain re-buys especially in limit holdem games
Some players happen to switch in between tables voluntarily, such players are not refunded what they did bet and they should make a fresh purchase to support the new game.
A safe guideline for buy-ins in limit games is to get 10 times the stack of the limit if you are an aggressive player.

Poker rules that govern the betting and raising of stakes are:-
In unlimited and pot limit games, players are permitted to bet unlimited stakes.
Almost all the poker games other than some variants of lowball poker permits check raises.
The minimum amount of bet that any player can place is based on the smallest blind bet placed at any point in time.
Most games that have just 2 betting rounds allow and maximum of one call and 4 raises and in games with 3 betting rounds there are only 3 raises allowed per bet.
If a player does not wish to place any bet or raise, they can pass the action by saying pass verbally or by rapping the table twice.
If for some reason after passing the player requires to joint back he need to request “time” which may give the player a right to set in to action. But such should be done before 2 or more players have acted.

Apart from the basics of playing the game including card ranking, betting structure, and participation criteria most of the poker rooms employ varied poker rules that govern the behavior of the players.
