WHY TO BLUFF IN TEXAS HOLDEM? - 2

In the previous article, I gave you some important reasons concerning bluffing. I continue here with further reasons so that you would become more competent with the bluffing strategy.

On the river:

You should opt to bluff, especially, when there could not find the perceptible drawing hands. It happens when players react to the phrase, ‘when you know that you are unable to win, you should throw your cards’. It is more often, regarded as a best idea for bluffing with a weak poker hand such as an ace-high or lowest pair by means of such type of bluffs as some players will remain in the game just due to the pot odds. If you go for it, it would be a semi-bluff.

When you are in late position and all other have checked:

You should have to anticipate this one for you. It will most probably force out only few players, not all. Once again, this is a common bluff, and several players will remain in due to the betting odds, or/and for once again ‘keeping you honest’. This reflects the other example of bluffing that requires being more determined over the combined rounds of betting.

You missed after betting pre-flop:

This is for the reason that they are not aware as you missed. This can cost you more, and really, you should lead towards evaluating the board prior to getting into this one. Sometimes, when you miss AK or 99, it is good to bluff. This one should really be felt you to out.

The fear given by you to other players:

It all depends upon the perception of other players about you. If you play a good game and win a hand, the players saying nice hand will then start respecting you. Most probably, they will fold towards your bluff, if you choose a right gaming style. The trick only involves playing the hand in the exact way your other winning hand played. You should again give here the act ‘here we move again’.
